Overview
Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech needed for a travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Ultrasound specialty focusing on OB/GYN imaging, starting 10/05/2026 for 16 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,728 to $2,930 per week. Shift is 8-hour days (5x8). This assignment is in a hospital setting with two campus sites, offering a structured travel opportunity through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

- Mileage-based travel rates: Travel (101 miles+), Radius (51–100 miles), Local (50 miles or less)

Responsibilities
- Perform OB/GYN ultrasound examinations, including routine and detailed fetal anatomy scans, first-trimester assessments, pelvic imaging, follow-up OB studies, BPP, UMB and MCA Dopplers, as indicated; conduct sonohysterography and HyCoSy as appropriate; document findings in the EMR
- Communicate results to obstetric teams and provide patient education as needed; coordinate follow-up imaging or referrals per clinical instructions
- Manage patient throughput, typically seeing up to eight patients per day (four mornings, four afternoons); twin pregnancies may count as two scans in a half-day
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and room readiness; adhere to safety, infection control, and department policies
- Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR and alignment with orders; collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine and obstetric colleagues as required

Requirements
- ARDMS registered with OB/GYN credential
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
- Prior travel experience required; large teaching hospital experience preferred
- OB/GYN imaging proficiency including fetal anatomy scans, follow-up OB, BPP, UMB and MCA Dopplers, 1st trimester, pelvic imaging, sonohysterography, HyCoSy
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- BLS certification and Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency)
