Job Description

Aramark Facilities Management is hiring a Service Technician Sr. to support facility maintenance operations at NRG Park in Houston, TX . In this role, you will perform hands-on maintenance and repair work while helping coordinate daily tasks for a small maintenance team. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment such as floor machines, vacuums, cleaning carts, gondolas, and other facility assets to keep operations running smoothly. This is a Monday through Friday position, typically working 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM , in a fast-paced event venue where priorities can change based on event schedules. Ideal candidates have strong experience in building maintenance, equipment repair, and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Job Responsibilities

-Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, floor care machines, vacuums, cleaning carts, gondolas, and related assets.

-Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and determine appropriate repairs.Inspect buildings, grounds, equipment, and work areas to identify maintenance needs.

-Complete scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists.Repair and maintain fixtures, doors, windows, hardware, office equipment, and other facility components.

-Schedule, assign, and oversee daily work activities for maintenance team members as needed.

-Monitor work quality and help ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely and on time.

-Report major equipment or facility concerns and recommend corrective actions.

-Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.

-Follow all Aramark safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.

-Support facility readiness before, during, and after events.

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of hands-on maintenance, facilities maintenance, building maintenance, equipment repair, skilled trades, or related experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical equipment issues and identify effective repairs.
• Experience using common maintenance tools, power tools, and repair equipment.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, generally 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility when business needs require schedule adjustments.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, kneel, climb, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work safely while following PPE and safety requirements.

Preferred

• Lead, supervisory, or crew leadership experience.
• Experience maintaining floor care equipment, custodial equipment, or similar commercial machinery.
• Technical certifications in maintenance, mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC, or related trades.
• Experience working in stadiums, convention centers, arenas, event venues, large commercial facilities, or similar environments.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
