 This contract, on-site position is ideal for an Associate-level anesthesia professional looking to make an immediate impact within the Medical Practice industry.

As a Locum CRNA, you will provide expert anesthesia care across a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative experience. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists,nurses,and other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless, high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic,and therapeutic procedures.
• Conduct thorough preoperative assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Select, prepare,and administer appropriate anesthetic agents based on patient condition and procedure requirements.
• Monitor patient vital signs, anesthesia depth,and overall status throughout procedures.
• Manage airways, ventilation,and hemodynamic stability during the perioperative period.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists,nurses,and other healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document anesthesia care accurately and completely in patient medical records.
• Provide post-anesthesia care, evaluating patients during recovery and managing complications or adverse reactions.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including resuscitation and critical care interventions.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control standards,and medical practice regulations.
• Support efficient operating room scheduling and continuity of care as a locum provider.
• Maintain professional competence through continued education and current CRNA credentialing.

Requirements

• Associate-level experience as a CRNA or Nurse Anesthetist.
• Current CRNA certification and licensure as required for clinical practice.
• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, pharmacology,and patient monitoring practices.
• Ability to work on-site in Manchester for the duration of the contract assignment.
• Excellent clinical assessment, critical-thinking,and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients and remain composed in stressful situations.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying case types, schedules, and clinical environments.
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality,and ethical medical practice.
• Level III trauma

Schedule: 8, 10, 12, or 24-hour shifts

~15 anesthetizing locations

Cases: OB, everything else except ENT, pediatrics, and neuro

Will perform regional blocks and lines

Care team model

EMR: Sunrise/Altera, MedAxion

ACLS and BLS required

Paid travel & expenses
